  2. Structure and operation principl.
    • An electromagnetic flow meter consists of two parts – the electromagnetic flow sensor and the meter body.
    • The operation of an electromagnetic flowmeter is based on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction.
    • The main parts of the sensor are: meter body, electrode electrodes, excitation coil, iron core and housing.
    • Meter body with sensor is a short alloy tube with diameter D, its inner surface has an insulating liner.
    • The three electrodes are fixed in the meter body along with its diameter direction and are in contact with the inner surface lining.
    • Based on the principle that when a magnetic field passes through the sensor, at both ends of the electrode produces an inductive electric rate proportional to the velocity of the fluid flowing through the sensor, the obtained parameters will be transmitted to the sensor and displayed on the screen
    • Meanwhile, if some conductive liquid flows at average velocity V through the measuring tube, cut the magnetic lines of flux in the magnetic field, which produces the inductive electromotive force E.
    • The electromotive force E is proportional to the product of the flux density B, the meter diameter D and the mean velocity V, that is:  E=  BVĐK.
    • The electromotive force E (flow signal) is measured by the electrodes and transmitted to the central processor via a transmission cable.
    • After the converter processes the flow signal by magnifying it, the flow and total amount can be displayed on the screen, which will also release the same pulse and current, etc.
